Refund & Policy Waiver

RVLL Refund Policy
Because the purchasing of uniforms, equipment, etc. is done at the end of the registration period and is based on registration numbers, the registration fee is non-refundable after the registration period ends.

Partial refunds after the registration period may be granted on a pro-rated basis for valid reasons such as a significant injury where the player is not able to play. Such refunds are subject to board approval and terms listed below.

Partial Refunds subject to following terms:
November 1st - December 15th, $25 processing fee.
December 15th - January 3rd, $50 processing fee.
January 3rd - January 22nd, $75 processing fee.
January 22nd - April 1st, $100 processing fee.
April 1st - July 1st, No Refund.

Waiver Signed at Registration
The undersigned Parent/Legal Guardian of the above named player:

  1. Approves the player’s participation in any and all Little League activities, including transportation/travel to and from the activities.
  2. Does hereby assume all risks and hazards to such participation incidental and does hereby waive, release, absolve and agree to hold harmless, Rincon Valley Little League and Little League Baseball Incorporated, including the organizers, sponsors, supervisors, participants and persons transporting players to and from activities for any claim arising out of injury to the player whether the result of negligence or any other cause.
  3. Understands that the Little League accident and medical insurance benefit payments are secondary to any other collectible insurance that the family may carry.
  4. Rincon Valley Little League is committed to being a good neighbor. It is important to us that members of our league follow that philosophy, by adhering to the posted speed limits entering and leaving the park.  The speed limit on Badger and Baird Roads is 25 mph. Our first and foremost responsibility is to the safety of our children. It is critical that each of us drive courteously and keep an eye out for cyclists and pedestrians.
  5. Understands that to help finance the maintenance and operation of Rincon Valley Little League ball fields, purchase uniform, equipment, and obtain insurance coverage, etc., it is necessary to charge a registration fee.
  6. Understands that because the purchasing of uniforms, equipment, etc. is done at the end of the registration period and is based on registration numbers, the registration fee is per the registration policy on the RVLL website.
  7. Understands that inappropriate behavior by a player may result in his/her expulsion or suspension, for one or more games, from Rincon Valley Little League. Inappropriate behavior by a parent may result in expulsion of the parent, the player, and/or the entire family from the League. The Board of Directors reserves the right to expel or suspend any person/player without prior warning.
  8. Understands that our child may be chosen at any time to play up to a higher Division, if he or she is of the correct age for such division as determined by the local league and Little League Baseball. Declining to move up to the higher Division may result in the League requiring our child to switch teams within the current Division.
  9. I hereby give my permission to RVLL, to use photographs and video taken of the above listed minor during the games and events associated with RVLL in any manner to help promote the league activities. Such use could include publications, media releases, public announcements, electronic or otherwise, and on league websites or social media pages. Some games may also be streamed live over the internet. I agree that neither I, nor the above listed minor, will receive any compensation if such image appears and will not receive any compensation if such image appears in any of the manners listed above or other manner that the league deems appropriate. I agree that such image is the property of RVLL.
  10. Player parents (or other family members) will have a mandatory volunteer requirement in the snack shack (details below). Registering your child for the RVLL season is agreeing to satisfy this requirement. Note this requirement only applies to players in the Peanuts, Rookies, Farms, Minors and Majors divisions (Tee Ball and Upper divisions are not included due to their disproportionate amount of games played at RVLL). There will be a limited amount (<150) of snack shack shift buyouts which are offered to first comers once teams have been drafted. The buyout option will cost $125 (per player).
